A smart choice! A wise decision!
Why would a parent who can enjoy alcohol, choose not to drink alcohol?
They know the consequences can be tragic in their children’s pool?? S future if they drink alcohol and follow their children to do likewise.
Good parents refuse to promote, enable or alcohol-model that could potentially kill their child. You know, not working a double standard! Telling your child to drink any alcohol if you drink, doesnâ? T work! Responsible parents are aware that driving under the influence of alcohol, alcoholism, drug use future, are a small part of what can happen after a child ITA?? S first drink. Parents who truly love their children are ready to give up something they themselves can enjoy the health and safety of their children.
I think mothers have the greatest responsibility, their children in this area, as they set the tone of the Home! For responsible parents, it is not no great sacrifice for the choice to drink alcohol.
It has done a study on the minds of young people, and the finding was that the young brain does not develop fully until they are 25 years old. Young people need adults in their lives are good examples. They need parents to them directly and help them make good decisions. The sad fact is that many parents are bad examples, and by the time a young person’s life of numbers, they are the same way as their parents.
If this idea of questioning the parents to abstain, remember! How would you feel if your child died in an alcoholic stupor, because they only wanted to be like you? If you? Donâ? T they want to drink alcohol, you must not drink !!!!!!!< br />
There is a movement now gaining great popularity, much like the anti-smoking campaign, which had great success. This movement is called? Reducing Underage Drinkingâ ????. It is the result of Congress requesting to revise the National Research Council and Institute of Medicine of the evidence on various programs on underage drinking and recommend a strategy to reduce and eliminate it.
The conclusion of the study is simple: alcohol consumption by young people is dangerous not only because of the risks associated with acute impairment, but also because of the threat to their long-term development and well being.
I had recently at a national conference for this movement and was generated with all the enthusiasm and excitement in teaching our young people not to drink and impressed until they are twenty-one. Organizations from all parts of the United States met to share what they know and their successes. Great progress has been made and young people are really educated in the dangers of alcohol consumption.
I am very grateful for everything that is done, and recommend to all for their commitment and the desire to save our young people involved.
Unfortunately, my only complaint is the lack of an abstinence message into their campaign. You are not making it loud and clear to young people that they have the choice to not drink any alcohol at all, regardless of their age. They are not taught, â? Abstinence is the better choice! Â?? You are only teaching young people to drink any alcohol until they are twenty-one. You have to believe, something magical happens when they reach the age of 21. If they only choose to drink, there will be no consequences.
Why do I think abstinence is a better choice?
Again from the study: 03.01 deaths among youth influence of alcohol. Underage alcohol lead to violence, suicide, school failure, and other problem behavior. All these problems are magnified by early onset of teen drinking: the younger the drinker, the worse the problem. Moreover, frequent heavy drinking by young adolescents can lead to mild brain damage. A young person who begins drinking as a teenager, is four times more likely to develop alcohol dependence than someone who used to until adulthood, alcohol in waiting. Almost 14 million Americans have developed alcohol abuse or alcoholism.
My argument to decide for the Development of the parents not to drink alcohol is personal, but is supported by the study.
