disease were first ive ever known, you can buy in a store. hmm AA been there done that so glad I am out of it. One day at a time, as you can plan any kind of future that this statement and it is not, what should be recoverying alcoholics achieve a better future?

Atleast they can admit their weaknesses. . . But it is sad to see her “fight” in a similar way as Judy. . . for some of Judy’s but it was the studio that they worked to death and gave her pills. . . That was more “Nuture” than nature, in my opinion. . . I do not believe Judy was destined to become an addict from the start. . . LOVE both so! xo

Typical AA Mist by Liza Minelli. It has undergone quite obviously from these crazies AA brainwashing. God has absolutely nothing to do with alcoholism and it is not a mental illness need a spiritual solution. Anyone can stop any behavior at any time, with faith. AA drives people to give their willpower. Liza Minelli should be ashamed to reveal their affiliation to such a cult, how they could influence vulnerable people.

@ SinisterUnicorn I hope your recovery is going well :-)

    6. 0RobinHood1 Says:

lol my family is also an alcoholic and I never had the desire to drink. I only drink on New Years Eve.

    7. SinisterUnicorn Says:

“Only someone who never actually met a person who is addicted to …” Um, I’m (an alcoholic, and I take full responsibility for my bad decisions, as opposed to Liza Minnelli). I did not need friends to tell me about my abuse (the arrests and injuries were) the notice. Sorry, addicts do not become victims.

    8. stockholmboy29 Says:

How glorious and foolish you are, SinisterUnicorn! Only those who really have never met a person who is addicted you can say a stupid thing! That sounds good, but it is not true. . . In the beginning you know that you drink only socialy / party drink like everyone else. You do not see the abuse of alcohol before you actually reach the valley floor. Especially when no friends try to help and inform you about your abuse.

    9. SinisterUnicorn Says:

I am an alcoholic, and I still do not believe that there is a disease. I have terrible decisions that lead to my addiction. Nobody poured it into me.

    10. krazy4luvingu Says:

I come from a family of alcoholics () both sides, so for anyone who says that alcoholism is not genetic does not know what the hell they are talking about. Secondly, drinking is widespread in our society. I started drinking in my high school thought day, it was innocent and have fun and before you knew it, it went downhill. I’m 21 and I was not afraid to admit that I am an alcoholic. This issue is something that is not talked about enough and I have so much admiration for people like Liza.

    11. CarGuyBrian2 Says:

Wow. . . . I suppose if you have ever suffered from alcoholism, you would know better.

    13. SinisterUnicorn Says:

It is obviously not a rational decision, but addicts have a certain responsibility. It makes it sound as if the dependency is done by her. He did it nicht.Natürlich there may be as-yet-again-genes are found, but they would simply predispose an individual, not sentence them. Even if you think it is genetic and your parents drug addicts, then you know, avoid alcohol and drugs, and you are responsible if you do not.

    14. Belgium4000 Says:

It is not what I want to start a whole endless debate here, I still think you are wrong. They have even give the impression as if there is a rational decision that it is not. If so, it would be solved very easly. . . In relation to the genetic link to alcoholism: I’m no expert in this field, but I do not dimiss it as impossible. Many things seem to be bound by our genetics, so why not alcohol addiction?

    15. Burntort Says:

      Thanks Lisa. .

    16. SinisterUnicorn Says:

Even if you do not choose to alcoholism per se, it is hard decisions that lead it to decide in particular, drinking in the first place. Addicts must take more responsibility for their decisions. Minnelli saw the terrible effects of alcoholism and had the choice to abstain, but they did not. She would have stopped drinking before it as a full member to addiction, but they did not. A condition that they may be compared contributed to other real genetic disorders, only one way to evade responsibility.

    17. Belgium4000 Says:

I think the important part of their response is at the beginning: you can not help you. It’s not as if you will wake up one day and think: “I will be an alcoholic.” It happens often people do not know until it’s too late. Other factors have a role in the production of drinking games have become problematic, but not someone CHOSE to be (come) an alcoholic. . .

    18. SinisterUnicorn Says:

@ TronaAlkoholismus rather than on a typical transmission of genetic patterns, and so it is not a genetic “disease” in a conventional use of the word, and since one is much more likely to become an addict if you’re poor or have a history of trauma, there are clearly social and psychological aspects of the condition that trumps genetics. Minnelli is wrong when she says it is a specific gene for alcoholism. There may be some genetic factors contributing to it, but there is no single gene.

    19. trona Says:

I must say that the ignorant comments here very disturbing. It is a proven fact that addiction is passed on through genetic genes. For the people who say that alcoholism is a choice is partly true, but it also comes from a family history of addiction. Look it up and study before making decisions about them. It’s a good feeling about living in glass houses throwing stones.

    20. earthling10 Says:

No, you seem to be confusing “disease” with a bad habbit. You need to take some personal responsibility.

    21. anna1960schild Says:

Illness my ass. . Artery disease, diabetes, THATS NO CHOICE !!!~!&*#

    22. brianogog Says:

Fucking moronic comment is here, yes it is a disease like yerherenow and not tomorrow not in anyone’s heart and mind, you arrogant fuck. . .

Please visit exposeaa. Orbits. We look for people who were forced to participate in the 12-step cult of the employers and courts. We are also available for individuals, organ transplantation, because in the AA cult has been denied participation. Please tell your story. Together we can make a difference.
