It’s All Too Much – original longer mixed
See some interesting debate about the song : www.youtube.com Get the original stereo sound from this link : www.esnips.com From I ME MINE book : IT’S ALL TOO MUCH was written in a childlike manner from realisations that appeared during and after some LSD experiences and which were later confirmed in MEDITATION. From Beatles Anthology : Around the Summer Of Love in 1967 Lennon: I was all for going there and living on the Haight. In my head I thought acid is it, this is the answer, let’s go. I’ll go there and make music, but of course it didn’t come true. In the end George went over. Harrison: I went to Haight Ashbury expecting it to be this brilliant place and it was full of horrible spotty drop-out kids on drugs. It certainly showed me what was really happening in the drug cult. It wasn’t what I thought of all these groovy people having spiritual awakenings and being artistic. It was just like the Bowery, it was like alcoholism. It was like any addiction. So at that point I stopped taking it, the dreaded lysergic. … That’s where I really went for the meditation. There’s this thing called a mantra….through the mantra, you can follow a technique that helps you to transcend to go beyond the waking, sleeping, dreaming state..

@ Subg88 – technology of the day allowed only 45, 50 minutes to a maximum l. page back in ‘67, but I understand your concern. . . a great bonus track on each album of the Beatles.

Please check your “personal message” about the dead link! I usually find many Ringo’s fans this track ignore, while this is my top five favorite Ringo’s songs, so I am very pleased to find someone who has the same taste in music, : D

The “eSnips” link appears to be incomplete. I know that the complete link is not visible, but also in the review of their “properties”, it cuts off at “a lot” and called it an incomplete eSnips address. Do you have the rest of the link, sailaway? (BTW my fave song on “Ringo” is “Sunshine Life for Me”:)

It is not the “Anthology” basically because Mark Lewisohn does not care much for this song. Go figure! o_0

It’s interesting how this song was Michael Jackson’s guitar melody and used it drive “Black Or White”. Of course, he has made it more rock and in my opinion, more catchy, but at the same time this song came first, and I, a big fan of “Black Or White” to recognize the genius of the Beatles guitar in this topic, and all her other works!

Such as “Leave My Kitten Alone” and one of the other songs George’s, “not guilty”, you wonder how / why this version was unreleased, including “Anthology”. . .

Everyone thinks he says “For your mother” – this was would be cool enough to have, but he says “As in …”, To Yorma Yorma from the Jefferson Airplane. Who can doubt who is the doubt George’s own account. It has also been stated incorrectly that the song was from Patty, but he wrote it on his first visit in a good mood on the California hippie scene, which has a negative effect on him later.
