OxyContin abuse on the rise in El Paso
Friday, January 20th, 2012Earlier this week, a South Central El Paso pharmacy was robbed. But they were not after money. The would-be robber-Demanded OxyContin. Silvia Medina, a nurse at Allivane, is not surprised. She works with addicts who says she wants to go to any length to get their hands on their next fix. She also tells us more patients are working professionals who have become addicted to the prescription painkiller. . .
