    Tuesday, July 27th, 2010

We all know someone who can not control his or her drinking and sometimes to stop, even after repeated attempts, the alcoholic is successful and the urge to drink responsibly. The following represents some of the classic alcoholic behaviors in the first phase of alcoholism. According to various reliable sources, is the person who does not drink more social because they are a means of escape become work-related stress, relationship problems, inhibitions, and the problems of life in general. Early in the development of the disease of alcoholism, the person increasingly depends on the feeling that results from drinking water. Tolerance to alcohol also need progressively larger amounts to achieve the desired level of intoxication.

Some of the early, are classic alcoholic behaviors lack of recognition by the person that he or she is in the early stages of alcoholism, shown by frequent drinking of increasing quantities, great tolerance, drink, boast, the ability to produce large quantities of alcohol, and behavioral changes such as irritability, if not drinking. Once a conflict surfaces of the alcoholic denies there is a problem as he or she begins to physical symptoms such as stomach upset, vomiting, trembling of the hands, skating experience, and power outages. The problems begin to arise in all areas with an alcohol content of life, rather than on the actual cause, alcohol, they begin to blame everyone and everything around them. Now the alcoholic beverage is not for stress reduction, but also because of the dependence. The next disturbance is usually marital problems, work problems, health problems and financial difficulties. The things that were once of great importance for the alcoholic, are now neglected, aggressive and enforce grandiose alcoholic behaviors, the prevention of family and friends increases occurring violent and destructive behavior, poor dietary habits and poor sleep patterns, unreasonable resentments, and increasing physical symptoms.

The deepest of the classic alcoholic behaviors occur during the last stage of the disease. Even if the alcoholic has successfully kept a job, was a “functional” alcoholic, has now control all losses. Drinking is now in the course of the day, starting with an “eye opener” for the work, and progressing in the course of the day. The job is lost because the alcohol has a total for all that they once held sacred job to take family, home and food in the back seat to drinking water in contempt. Neurological symptoms are also now in the form of the “shakes”, tremors, which occur when he or she tries not to drink. If this occurs with hallucinations, this is called “DT” or delirium tremens, which is potentially lethal without medical attention. The cycle usually continues to exist until the alcoholic behavior repeated until the individual reaches the ground, then its recovery may be possible with a strong desire to stop drinking.
